The HomePoleTM or PD-POLETM is a practical, lightweight (3 lbs.),
portable, I/V (Intravenous) Pole designed to facilitate and
promptly deliver infusion therapy for patients requiring home care after leaving the hospital, or self-administering home care by ESRD patients on Peritoneal Dialysis. The difference between the HomePoleTM and the PD-POLETM is the employment of a drain hook (provided) for the effluent bag for use by PD patients.

- Bottom Section with OneWrap Velcro straps (#1)
- Intermediate Section with an opening for a Drain Bag Hook (#2)
- Removable Drain Bag Hook
- Two Intermediate Sections (#3 and #4)
- Top Section with Swing-Out Hook (#5)
- Bottom Section Spacer (#6)
- Bottom Section furniture guard Protector Plate (#7)
- One 5-Liter (5,000 mg.) Scale (a separate accessory not provided with the HomePoleTM).
Assembly Instructions Summary
The summary of the Instructions includes:
- Place the thin Protector Plate #7 (with soft furniture-protecting side outward) onto the Bottom Section #1 by engaging two fastener buttons into the key-holes on Section #1. Or, if the furniture leg has a protruding arm or edge, the Spacer Section #6 between Section #1 and the Protector Plate #7 should also be applied.
- The Bottom Section #1 is then fastened to any straight leg piece of furniture, such as a chair or a table, by wrapping each Velcro strap firmly around a straight leg and the HomePoleTM.
- The strap is then secured to itself until the Velcro hooks and loops are totally and firmly engaged. Coiling the Velcro with the hook side inward will provide a snag-free and a softer outer surface.
- Placing the next Section #2 of HomePoleTM onto connector in a straight line downward will quickly assemble the pole. The connectors and HomePoleTM Sections fit easily together by slipping directly over each other. If less than the total height of the HomePoleTM is required Section #4 can be left out.
- The assembly is ended with Top Section #5 which contains the Swing-Out Hook.

Peritoneal Dialysis Use
For Peritoneal Dialysis use, a separate Hook (provided) is used, which
fits the opening in Section #2 for a drain bag and/or Scale attachment.
(This Hook can also be used as a second Hook underneath the Swing-Out
Hook using the same opening.)
Install the hook by connecting the flange into the slot on Section #2 and the pole is ready for use.
The HomePoleTM may remain assembled or disassembled in between treatments as required. Assembly will only take a few moments.
The HomePoleTM should be stored and transported in its transparent plastic carrying case/container.

Swing-Out Hook
The Top Section Swing-Out Hook pivots easily out of the tube with any slight
movement from the top of the HomePoleTM. Lifting the Hook upward, then pushing it through the opening in the rear of Top Section #5, will fasten the hook securely.
The Pole can be easily cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth. It will never corrode and it is designed to be taken apart and reassembled up to 1,000 times.

Portable FreeStand
As an available accessory, the FreeStand is a portable, collapsible,
four-footed stand with casters for permanent installation, or when
furniture with a straight leg is not available.
