George Militzer

Architect, Inventor, Business Developer

George Militzer has developed five project groups in the fields of health care, real estate, marine and general use that once adequately organized should yield an annual net revenue stream (excluding infrastructural overhead) of approximately $800 million. This does not include new devices, services or projects that may be produced in the future.

Militzer's professional training is as an architect. He received his Doctorate degree from the School of Architecture at the University of Rome in Italy. He also attended the Academy of Industrial and Interior Design.

Since relocating to the West Coast, he served as an Architect and Real Estate Developer, operating a private practice of commercial and residential architecture and real estate development in San Diego, California.

During this period he also founded The Real Exchange Corporation to develop the prototype of a sophisticated computer matching system for the purchase and sale of residential property.

Prior to establishing his practice in San Diego, George Militzer was engaged in a full-time private practice in New York City and Long Island, New York, which involved residential construction in East Hampton and Southampton, New York; office building structures in New York City and on Long Island; "off-Broadway" type theaters in New York City; and general space planning and tenant improvement work for large office buildings in New York City.

His select residential clientele included Frank Stanton, East Hampton; Sander Simon, Southampton; Winston Frost, Southampton; Harold Johnson, Southampton; Amory Carhart, Southampton; and Bruno Graf, Southampton.

Before establishing his private practice, George Militzer served as Director of Planning, Space and Furniture Design, for Litton Industries' Business Products Division: Cole Steel Equipment Co. in New York City.

He launched and was in charge of the Space Design Service Department and Product Development, providing services for such well-known corporations as Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Sony Corporation and Colgate Palmolive Company. Services included space planning and tenant space design work for large office buildings in New York City.

Militzer also worked as an Interior Architect for Designs for Business, Inc., serving as Space Planner and Designer on the Time & Life Building project in New York City.

Previously, Militzer served as the Assistant Chief Architect for the Equitable Life Assurance Society's City Mortgage Department in New York. He was responsible for agency facilities development projects throughout the United States.

Quartet on San Diego Bay Born in Budapest, Hungary, he attended parochial schools in central Europe taught by Cistertion and Benedictine monks.

After fleeing the communists, George Militzer escaped from Hungary to Italy, where he first finished high school at Farfa (Province of Rieti), before attending the School of Architecture at the University of Rome.

He met his wife, Leslie, in New York, and later they moved to San Diego, where George is a member of Kona Kai International Yacht Club. Over the years, he has actively raced his Ranger 37-foot sailboat.
